Hi Peter.

Lisa here in WA. I bought my first electric resonator Molonator today and can\'t put it down. I just wanted to let you know that I\'m very happy indeed with this guitar and its wonderful \"playability\". I\'m a Maton player (6 and 12 string electric and acoustic) but wanted to try something new. I came across this guitar by chance and on first play, knew it was my new guitar to add to the stable. And, to top it off, its aussie which was the icing on the cake.

Keep up the great work. Much appreciation.

Lisa

Hi Peter, just a note to say I put your cone and biscuit in my newly acquired 1931 National Duolian and it sounds fantastic. Bright with a lot of sustain. I replaced the original cone because it looked a bit "tired" and the top of the cone had sunk a little so the biscuit was not quite flat. I have managed to press the cone out using the rounded end of a pencil but I like the sound of the new cone so much I think I'll keep it in and save the old one .
Many thanks, Peter Thompson, Hobart.

I brought My steel bodies National w/ Me to play @ JJF. The Highlander pichup had been giving Me problems, and I tried to seat it onto the cone more firmly, w/ disasterous results- squashed that pie pan w/ a vengence.

Pete- pejomo- made the long swim across the Pacific to join up w/ the Merry Biscuiteers
last Oct and brought a new high water mark to that rag-tag bunch of fokes.

So...I emailed Him, had 2 hand spun cones @ My doorstep w/in 1 week, and installed forthwith.

Result: immediate change in clarity and sweetness of tone! I've worked these beasts for several years, 1 wooden, 1 steel, and pretty much know their sound like the cry of One's Young.

I'll add My endorcement to the Mayor's on these. Kinda like red beans and rice, Petes cones and reso guitars go togeher THAT GOOD!
Dawg.

P.S. See you in Oct, Pete THANK YOU!!!!!!

Peter - I really like the looks of your various reso instruments. I listened to one of the clips and it sounded nice too. I've been using an old 70's era metal bodied Dobro that I modified with electric pickups and piezos way before it was cool. I may be the first person to butcher a reso to be heard live - did it about 17 years ago. Still have trouble with lowend feedback at high volume and it looks like your thinner body style might be better for that. If you come back to USA again - stop by FLA and see us - we'll compare notes on piezos, pickups, etc.
