Hello,
My compliments on your website and its history.
We are making a large exhibition in 2019 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation in southern Holland.
Would it be okay if I use some of the photos that you have shown on your website ?
Please take a loot at your website, it is in dutch with a small link to English and German. I live very close to the area your father helped defend near the zig canal ( Operation ascot )

All the best, Niels

Thank you very much for a great website. I\'m really grateful to find photos of the cemetery and memorial at Kohima, and especially my grandfather\'s grave with the inscription from my Grandma. I never knew him, he seemed so faraway and and this has brought him near.

My grandfather was 14624678 Private Harry Ernest Perkins of the Queen\'s Own Cameron Highlanders, he died on 12th May 2014 somewhere at Kohima. He was 34 years old and left a wife, Emma May Perkins, a son Harry Ernest Perkins (my Dad) and a daughter, Irene. They were from Hull and sadly all have died now, RIP.

If anyone has any information at all about my grandfather, where he served and how he died I would be very grateful.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we shall remember them.

Thanks and best wishes,
Sue
