So I was not the only one suffering with hip/leg pain following those Lupron shots, as my Urologist suggested ... he was surprised that I felt any discomfort at all.
My hip pain was very precise ... the pain set in the day after the shot and lasted two days, no more, no less and I had to use a cane for support while walking.
I'm sure glad that part of the treatment is over, for now anyway.
Aloha Phred,
You Are Not Alone - The oncologist & urologist had not dealt with injection site hip pain before. Was on a 4.5 mile hike today, had to stop and take a Tylenol Arthritis toward the end of the hike. Same thing riding the off-road bicycle. Need to take Tylenol at night to sleep.
