March Days to Remember!

March 17 came and went so quickly. Yes, I had my corned beef, not only to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but National Corned Beef & Cabage Day!

Read to your child or grandchild today, March 19th, for International Read to Me Day or tell them an old family story tomorrow, March 20th to retell in future to their children for World Storytelling Day.

March is also designated as Women’s History Month, with the following specifed dates (https://www.today.com/life/holidays/when-is-womens-history-month-rcna72522):

1.March 8. - International Women’s Day,
2.The Women’s Suffrage Parade in Washington, D.C. on March 13, 1913, saw 8,000 women demanding a constitutional amendment to guarantee their right to vote, and
3.The Equal Rights Amendment was passed in the Senate on March 22, 1972.

Of course, for those who are sports minded, it's March Madness" time again, first used in 1939 when Illinois high school official Henry V. Porter referred to the original eight-team tournament by that moniker.
