The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Singing in the Rain

Hallo Forumers,

Christmas Day is over & the presents explored. Perfumes sprayed, shower gels scenting the bathroom, new clothes tried on & praised, bobble slippers under the bed, silk nightress on the pillow, the turkey stripped & the ham remains left for sandwiches.

Yesterday morning we awoke to a green Ireland again, overnight the winds changed & the rain returned. Everyone here is "Singing in the Rain" again.

Joe is delighted "Thank God to see the end of that, in a few weeks the clear nights will be coming, the daffodils will be showing a few green shoots & I will get into the garden again"

I love Christmas & stick to the full 12 days with the tree lights on all the time, the scented candles burning in every room. As usual eating & drinking too much rich food & wine, with the result that all the weight I had lost last year piled on again with a vengeance SO

Beano & everyone guess what my New Year Resolutions will be. Anyone join me.?

This is one of the best Christmases I have had, they seem to get better every year, hope you all can say the the same.
