I am look for a recipe for baked beans - in tomato sauce!!! - can anyone help me with this please.
There are a lot of recipes but they all refer to canned beans - I want to make the beans myself.

The tinned beans are so readily availble and cheap that no one seems to have a recipe to make the dish!
I will keep looking, though

Thanks for your reply - but unfortunately I am not in RSA - I am living in Brazil - and beans being their staple diet and wanted to introduce them to an interest change in flavbour!!! - what about sousboontjies - are they not the same sort of taste.
