MY GRAND MOTHER WAS BORN IN RIBERA - AGRIGENTO - ITALY NAMED GIOVANNA BILLELA( JULY 1898), SHE MARRIED WITH MY GRAND FATHER GIACOMO CARBONE( DEC , 1982) FROM SAN LUCIDO COSENZA, BOTH DIEDS HERE IN BRAZIL. I JUST TRYING TO FIND SOME RELATIVES THERE( MAYBE) THE CARBONE FAMILY WEB SITE IS VERY INTERSTING. GOOD LUCK FOR EVERYBODY. |

My mother was Dollie Carbone. Our connection is Girolamo Carbone and Antonina Petta through their son Spiridione Carbone, brother of Serafino. Spiridione's son was my grandfather Giuseppe Carbone, born in Piana in 1865 and emigtated in 1895 through New Orleans to Dallas, then Wisc., then Missouri, and finally Los Angeles in the late 1920's. |
