Too many postings leading to too much time away from family. But overall an interesting 24 years.

I enjoyed most of my time in the RAF. Will always be glad of the training as a Boy Entrant. It still amazes me how school boys were, in eighteen months, turned into young men full of self respect and for others and fully qualified tradesmen. It was brutal at times but I never felt brutalised. Only pride.

John Ward died on the 16th January 2014.
John put his heart and soul into this site and did a magnificent job. he brought together many ex Boy Entrants not just the 41st entry Telegraphists, which was the original plan. His work escalated to cover much more With the additions of all entries and those not connected With either Cosford or the entry system. His diligence and compassion for this work is above and beyond what most of us can comprehend. Thanks John.

John Ward - R.I.P.
