The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

The Milkman

OK, you busy exiles, who will be the first to read the prize winning book. I have just received it and it awaits me, on top of a pile of other 'must reads'

For those who have never heard of it, it is written by a Belfast woman, Anna Burns. A review said "Original and thought-provoking...That she successfully tackles her serious mission with razor-sharp wit, warm humour and great compassion is even more impressive."

Would love to hear the first review from you!

Have a happy day!

Liz

Re: The Milkman

Thanks Joe and Thomas! Oh dear, now somebody will ask me if I enjoyed reading it. It is still on my "read next" pile! Trouble is darned Macular trouble, and my eyes get tired after a while! But I am still looking forward to it! Maybe soon!
