Barber shop...

Anybody remember a barber shop at the bottom of Seymour St.? It was just before Millbrook/Low road on the same side and I think it was owned by Geordie Wright..at least he worked there?

Re: Barber shop...

I remember it well, Geordie Wright was the proprietor and Billy Andrews was the assistant ,

Re: Barber shop...

Correct

Geordie Wright owned it and Billy Andrews worked there. Dermot Dornan had one also on the Lowroad and later another was opened by a person called Logue in Grand Street. His brother Eddie Logue who was also a hairdresser had one in Bridge Street and he was the first in Lisburn to offer "Bee Bops". Patsy Dornan who was originally from Hilden worked there.
