Lisburn Exiles Forum

(Site is no longer operational pending a major long overdue overhaul of the entire website. Thank you for your patience. Site should still be visible and searchable for old posts.)

The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Only Me

Haven't had a chance to get on the Forum all week. "We've" been decorating the front bedroom. (the Royal "we") as I haven't a clue about papering. Anyway, all the painting and papering is finished. We're having a new carpet fitted on Tuesday. Then I will HAVE to re-arrange all the rubbish I have sitting around in the bedroom. Don't know what I'm going to do with it all as I use everything. I might buy a large decorative basket or such-like and put all the cosmetics. hair brushes, etc. into this. |I wish I knew how other people keep their bedrooms tidy, especially the dressing table. Mine is like a jumble sale at present. Our bedrooms in the bungalow are fairly small anyhow so there's not much room for unnecessary clutter. Anyhow, hope to get back "ON" soon. Hope everyone is well.

Re: Only Me

Tom great to hear from you. Hope Evelyn is well. Just typed a recipe for you but the battery ran out on my tablet so I lost the posting. It was only a tip about adding parsnips when cooking potatoes. Mash them up with the potatoes and no one can tell. Good for people who don't eat veg. You can also use celeriac or sweet potato.
