The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

It´s that time again

Today at 12.00h the all yearly Oktoberfest starts, the biggest beer festival in the world, a litre beer costs over €10 this year but worth it when you compare the quality, the atmosphere and last not least the "Ompa Ompa" bands performing
If Eamon lowercase is lurking I will drink a "Mass " to your health.

The Oktoberfest got off to a good start according to this report, I did not make it as I had to attend a local Tirolean wine festival near us, but hope to get there next week
