A busy week

On Monday I attended the Macular Clinic in the Mater Hospital, obviously about my eyesight. I had a scan carried out and will know the result in a week or so. Today (Tuesday) I had to have several fillings, only small ones, and I didn't even have an injection. I think the dentist was so busy and couldn't spare the time. However, she's been my dentist for a lifetime and has never hurt me yet. Today was no exception. Tomorrow I have a GP appointment. On Thursday our faithful milkman retires. I gave him his present this morning, said goodbye, told him I would miss him, and by that time I had tears in my eyes. Friday seems to be free, so far. Saturday my youngest daughter and her husband go to Spain on a climbing holiday which takes me on to Sunday which is the beginning of a new week. Next week is fairly busy too, but I'll explain about that soon. Never a dull moment. Who says retirement is boring.

Angela ( Ann )
Question: What´s the difference between a French pensioner, an English pensioner and a German pensioner?

Answer: the French pensioner drinks his Cognac and goes to see his mistress, the English pensioner drinks his Whisky and goes to the racetrack and the German pensioner drinks his heart medicine and goes to his place of employment!

Donald, you fool, you told that one before. It's still good, though, and very true.
