Re: Beano

I knew Ronald Cox a long time ago. His Mom and Dad lived not far from my Grandparents on Alexander Avenue in the Greenwood Estate. He was a bit of an odd duck (don't mean to speak ill of the dead), used to pick his parents meat order up from my Dad's shop on Mercer street when they got poorly. Eccentric but extremely intelligent if I remember correctly, sad to hear of his passing, often wondered what happened to him after his parents passed.

Re: Beano

Hi Ann,

Thank you for passing on the sad news about Ronald Cox, I remember him well. The Cox's lived at the bottom of Sloan St. before moving to the Greenwood Estate. As Richard says, he was extremely eccentric, he was a good looking guy when he was a young teenager. So sorry to hear of his passing.
