The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.
I mentioned buying toys the other day. Well when the sit-in cars were assembled it was found that some holes in the door panels had not been drilled so they had to be returned again..
Better to assemble toys before the big day as mistakes will happen and it will save tears later when a car has a door that cannot be fitted, or batteries are missing from electrical goods.
Had to buy more small cars as children will want four or five to play with, at one time, each. Mayhem if not enough cars to go round.
The musical hoops were a hit as well. More smaller ones ordered to save murder in the Creche.
