This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Kirkwoods Road

Hi folks,
Does anyone have any information or know were i can get some info, on how Kirkwoods Road in Lisburn got its name? I have ancestors who farmed in this area in the mid to late 1800's, and was curious to know if the road was named after the Kirkwood family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
