Forgetsies

Hi all, "headless chicken" day. Had a wee lie-in until 9.30 am, then got up and made a cooked breakfast. Before I had a shower, my daughter rang from England. Talked to her for a good while and then, noting the time, told her that I would have to go as I needed to get ready for Mass. Washed my hair, had a shower and began getting dressed. Dominic took the dogs out for their morning walk.

The floors could have done with a vacuuming, AND I needed to put a wash on, but didn't have time. I could do all that later on.

Drove up to the chapel and noticed an awful lot of people around Chapel Hill. They were all streaming out of the chapel. We looked at each other, wondering if there had been a funeral or something like that. Then we saw a guy we both knew. Dominic rolled down the window and asked him what was going on.

Pat Hughes (for that's who it was) said they were all coming out of 10 o'clock Mass. He then added, "Don't tell me you forgot to put your clock back?" He had a great laugh at our predicament.

WE HAD. Well, actually, we thought the clocks went back next week.

We drove down to our daughter's and had tea and a chat. Spent an hour there and then made our way ONCE AGAIN up to 12 Mass.

All I can say is "FORGETSIES". I wonder is it a senior moment? But then, what about the two mugs who live with us?

Have to go now, need to hoover and put a wash on.
