The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Well that used to be the saying during WW1,not much difference today is there, a young soldier shot and then stabbed in the back in an engagement with Taliban forces was awarded £42,000 for his injuries now he has been ordered to pay back a large amount of this to the MOD, last year a typist working for the MOD was awarded £240,000 for a thumb injury,she never even left england, and his case is not the only one either, there are many other disgraceful cases like his
