The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Hi all,

I just came back from my Doctor, what else. Her husband and two daughters were in Washington D.C. last weekend. They were having a picnic in a park close to Arlington National Cemetery when they were attacked by a swarm of "Bees", between them they were stung 23 times and ended up in hospital. Apparently this is a daily occurrence, and is not posted as a warning anywhere, go figure. It was quite the scary experience for them.
