The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.
Morning all,
Cold today sunny spells, have'nt yet had breakfast as we sat up late last night.
Joe came home last night from the national Car Test with a long face at the door. BUT he was only joking... to our amazement the car passed the test. It has 72,000 miles on the clock, I suppose not bad for nearly 12years driving,on bad roads as well around here. Joe was delighted, if it had not passed ,we were without a car. He opened his 400th anniversary bottle of Bushmnills & had a few, I had a couple of gin & limes to celebrate. Sleep came easily.
Good news lifts the spirits (all spirits) and with that bit of good news, that will see us driving safely for anothe 2 years, we wish you all good news in the coming days.
