The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Spackman

Who remembers Spackmans mens clothing store in Belfast.
It was still there in the early 60s. They gave away pencils with a ryhme printed on them. " When I was a lad, I went with my dad and always got clad at Spackman,s. Now I,m a dad with many,s a lad, we all get clad at Spackman,s"!
It was situated in or near High St, probably not there any more.
