(Site is no longer operational pending a major long overdue overhaul of the entire website. Thank you for your patience. Site should still be visible and searchable for old posts.)

The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Oyster Festival Hillsborough

Tomorrow starts the Oyster Festival in Hillsborough. Although it's only about 5 miles away, we've never been. BUT, this year I intend to take hubby, well, make him go. Saturday is the BIG day, when the Oyster Eating Competition commences.
I'd just like to see all the stalls, all the different foods. see. I'm always interested in food.

Today and tomorow is the Oul Lammas Fair in Ballycastle O. I've only been twice. First time with my late brother Malachy and my aunt Bella and I think my youngest son We had a great day.

However, hubby and I went there about 5 years ago and it was just milling with people, couldn't get parked, it was not enjoyable, so many people there so we haven't gone since.
