The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Bertie Law passed away

Hello all,

Just read on Lisburn today, old Ulster Star website that Bertie Law was buried last Friday. I remember Bertie well and fondly, from my visits to Lizzy Drakes and the Down Royal, pub and racecourse!!! He also owned most of the houses at Belvoir Park, top of Longstone Street and Moira Road, my sister lived in one of them....

Cheers Bertie, keep her lit.
