The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

Lagan Belle

Just read on the BBC web site that the owners of the Lagan Belle are stopping business as they are not having enough visitors using the service. This is very sad as it was a brilliant trip for visitors and locals. Its a pity the council couldnt support this some way

Re: Lagan Belle

Very sorry to hear that the Lagan Bell will stop sailing. We enjoyed a trip with commentary on The Bell this past summer. Understandably it was geared up mainly for the tourist trade @ that alone could not warrant a yearly salary for 3 people + expences.
