Lisburn Exiles Forum

(Site is no longer operational pending a major long overdue overhaul of the entire website. Thank you for your patience. Site should still be visible and searchable for old posts.)

The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

going home

Thanks for the tip Low Roader, I am going to the Antrim coast next week, but I already have acomodations with my aunt and cousins.
Hopefully the weather will co-operate, and I don't mean sunny and 90, as there is probably no air-conditioning.
I am looking forward to my visit home, plan to meet up with some old friends. Is Portrush any cleaner than it's been? Last time I was there, the smell of dog feces was terrible, and refuse was strewn all over the place. What a health hazard.

Sylvia.

Re: going home

I must confess that I have been in cleaner places. Mind you I have also been in filthier ones - but not many.
I prefer Portstewart as it is really a one street town and I cannot get lost so easily.
