This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

HELP PLEASE

Hello friends of Lisburn.

How would you go about tracing your family tree in Northern Ireland. I understand records are not available on line, so where do you start????

Hi Sadie,

Go online to www.proni.gov.uk and you will find all kinds of records, unfortunately you may have to pay for some of them. Another interesting site is www.geneologylinks.net/uk/ireland/index. Good Luck

Hi Sadie/Beano, another interesting site is www.genesreunited.co.uk a lot of folks use it for building their family tree.
