The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

We miss you Maureen

Hi Maureen, I wondered if you were OK, since you said some time ago you hadn't been very well. Let us know how you are. Regarding the jamjars, I don't remember trading with them, but Maureen do you remember the wee shop round the corner from Alexander's pub, opposite McKeown's bakery in Sloan Street, that used to accept lemonade bottles (we called them 'empties') and would give you tuppence? That was enough for a packet of Refreshers.
