The Lisburn Exiles Forum is dedicated to the memory of James Goddard Collins (The Boss) who single-handedly built LISBURN.COM (with a lot of help from many contributors) from 1996 to 29th November 2012. This website was his passion and helping people with a common interest in the City of Lisburn around the world is his lasting legacy.

I got an e-mail from the editor of the Ulster Star a few days ago. I had passed a remark about how he might be interested in a column from Ex Pat Lisburners. He seemed to be quite keen and was interested in hearing back with some ideas. Now, since a lot of you guys have more memories and experiences than my humble self I thought that I'd throw it out there for you all...!!! LOL
You can send any thoughts that you might have in e-mail form and I will forward same on. Give me some feedback first, I think that it's a good idea and a great way to reach old friends back home who do not know about the forum but who do read "The Star"...
