Hi everybody,
just a line in case anyone misses me next week, I,m off tomorrow to a village near Bayreuth for a week to coordinate a seminar for union delegates there. The hotel is first class, a member of the Romantic Group, owned by the famous TV Chef Herrmann( his mother made a parachute jump in tandem on her 80th birthday ) but I,m on a strict, self imposed diat with absolutly no alcohol until Xmas. An afternoon visit to the Wagner Opera House is also on the programm, I,ve been there once to see Sigfried, but it was too heavy for us both, we left at the interval and drove back to Munich and arrived in time for a beer at my local Biergarten. What do the Norn Ironers say? " You can take the man out of the bog but you cannot take the bog out of the man!"
