Potted Herrings

All this talk about Elmores has put me in the notion fot potted Herrings. My wife, her roots coming from Ardglass has consented to try to make them. I found in internet an Irish receipe with?, what else Guiness so I,m away to my art class and coming home past the fish shop will buy a kilo or herrings to try. By coincedence the most famous beergarden in Munich is situated here as well, I think they serve Hofbräu beer today. For information, in this beergarden all Munich beers are rotated, Spaten, Löwenbräu, Pschorr, Paulaner and my favourite Augustiner.
Have a nice day all

Re: Potted Herrings

Hi Donald! It is a rainy Monday morning here in S E England. I thought my husband was going to take a photo as I got the polish and duster out to the bedroom furniture (a rare thing in my house). My biggest enemy is dust, I refuse to be a slave to it! If you clear it away, it just comes back! I would rather be painting...... or cooking.........or reading..........or walking......or anything........

What are you painting in your painting class?

Re: Potted Herrings

Hi Liz,
at the moment I am working on two paintings, one is an abstract painting of an eye,my wife wanted something to hang in our bedroom, I chose the colors brown , red and orange. the second project is a wooden artist,s palett about 15 cm by 30cm, in which I plan to build in an electonic work with melody. The front is an Bavarian sky , blue with white clouds with the inscriptian both in German and English, which I first read in English on the Church tower in Saintfield, " The time is short! " in German, " Die Zeit ist kurz!"
