I like you have walked round the Estate many times in the recent years and have witnessed a slow decline with the area we all came from. As you say the memories we have of our childhood should & will remain with all of us no matter what.
It is very sad that the Crown Estate have in their wisdom decided to Sell off these properties. The Buildings being errected during the 1930s , have over the years been renovated . By now the maintenance bill to keep things in order has risen to the point where the Crown have decided enough is enough.
Its happening all the time all over the Country .I doubt that we , even as a collective body or individuals , would be in any position to influence the CROWN ESTATE in its thinking.
However , as an individual I will link in and sign the petition.
