Alan, I haven't heard anything to this effect. Maybe pinpoint to a previously un-radiated area? I asked about this when I had my treatment as I know there are limits to how much radiation is considered "safe" for a lifetime. I was told the area they were radiating would be at that limit after treatment which tells me, no more, at least to that area.
Also interesting is that I asked why no precaution was taken to protect the rest of me from stray radiation like the usual lead blanket. They told me a blanket thick enough to protect from the radiation they were using would crush me! Jon.
Thanks Jon. Your comments are as I suspected--I probably misread somewhere that someone was considering a second round, but like you, a doctor told me years ago that it was a one time deal. So be it! Thanks again.
