Helpful hint

I just saw a message from a gent that talked about difficulties right after surgery while wearing the cath.

What I did post-surgery for the times I was home (about the first 3 weeks other than doctor visits was to wear loose shorts that the cath tube could run out of to the bag. The bag I hung on the inside of a Home Depot bucket. This kept it easy to keep track of, spill-proof in the event something came disconnected at the bag, and allowed me to use the treadmill easily. I simply held the bucket while walking on it.

Hope that helps someone - I suggested it to a buddy that went through this too and he said it was a lifesaver.
