Hi again,
Just finished 35 IGRT therapy sessions ten days ago, one year post radical prostatectomy. About half-way through the
treatment I began having extremely painful bowel movements and they continue to this day. Has anyone had similar experiences and do they
recommend anything to help. I am taking hot baths, metamucil, and using ibuprofen with no real pain relief. This whole experience is getting old.
I have been regular, one reason I take metamucil every night per doctor's recommendation. The stool is formed, not hard but the pain is unbelievable.
The doctor prescribed both a cream and a foam product for the pain with no relief. Thanks
