This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.

John; I agree with Don. You do yourself no service by "overthinking" this. You are correct that many of us had no symptoms of our cancer, it is a stealthy disease. Though it is possible to get it at your age, do not become paranoid about it. Get your PSA checked and at each physical, as an exercise to establish a base line so you have a more accurate way to monitor it for future reference. Good that you are on guard and aware but don't read trouble into every ache and pain you get for your own peace of mind. As one gets older, those things become more prevalent and can cause one to worry when there may not be cause..) An enlarged gland at your age is not uncommon. You seem aware enough of the risk of cancer to keep a watch for it and that is one step ahead of a lot of us that have been through it. Best wishes for you to not join this club! Jon R.
