Re: Worried

Bill,

I have a post here in the survivor stories. I have been "worried" for almost 13 years now since failed surgery and subsequent radiation. I apparently have a slow progessive beast and to date have stayed away from hormonal therapy and plan to do so till I reach 4 or so, but maybe not even then. As you might have seen doing your research, hormonal therapy and now with the other drug, can keep the cancer in remission for long periods (years) of time. I try to stay positive and often reflect on the fact that one of Dr. Catalona's patients (I am not one of his patients but read his articles/newsletter a lot) had wide spread mestatic cancer with a PSA of 4,000 was still a survivor at 19 years!

Just some thoughts,

Take Care,

Allen Z
