Phase 3, study of ATEZOLIZUMAB(ANTI-PD-L1 Antibody)

Hi,

My brother was diagnosed in July of 2016, with a gleason score 9 with bone mets. He was given 6 rounds of chemo along with ADT(lupron). His PSA at the time of diagnoses was 84, came down to .5 after chemo back in Nov 2016.
He has been on zytiga since January of this year, and his PSA has been rising slowly and it is now 1.6. His latest CT and PET scan was clear and his overall health is good, except for a persistant pain in back, manageable only with high doses of advil.
His Onco wants to put him on a phase 3 trail of ATEZOLIZUMAB(ANTI-PD-L1 Antibody) and switch him over from zytiga to xtandi.
Has anyone heard of this trail or know of anyone who has tried it?
Would appriciate comments from the group.

Jim
