Hope for ultra high PSA patients

I have a friend who was diagnosed with a PSA in the thousands. He was given three years tops. More than eleven years later his PSA is spiking as hormone treatment no longer works for him. Hopeful of another couple of years. He did intermittent hormone therapy so that it took longer for his body to become immune to each type of hormone. Hopefully this post will encourage similarly affected high PSA patients to never lose hope and to maintain a positive attitude on the journey. My PSA was relatively low so I had my prostate removed. My friend didn't have that option.
