This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.

If your PSA is 0.01 then they will probably give you a "hormone holiday" until your PSA goes up again since you don't seem to need any treatment at this time. A PSA of .01 after 2 years may indicate no cancer present. Your doctor may not want to give you false hope yet but just the fact that they are waiting six months before any more treatments suggests that is what they are thinking.

Oh thank you very much Frank for your educated response. I will continue monitoring my PSA every 3 months just in case it prostate ca flares up again. Your opinion has settled my anxiety. Thanks once more Frank. Wish you well too and my fellow patients.
