Urinary incontinency after radical retropubic prostactomy

In my case radical retropubic prostactomy was performed on 05-01-2016.Since that I am continent when I am sitting or laying. But while walking or standing I am continuing urine dripping. Kindly let me know how much time it will take to become completely continent during walking or standing. I am sixty years old and very much frustrated due urinary incontinency during walking or standing.

Vinod-

Everyone is different - so the best I can say is it all depends. I had RALP on 4/20/16 and am still incontinent - but down to one pad per day.

Some people need additional procedures to stop leaking.

You should give it more time, do Kegel exercises, and discuss with your surgeon if not improving.
