YANA Database Analysis

Well I have finally been able to devote a goodly portion of my time to the above project. I am about half way through the 1385 stories. There should be many matters to discuss when my paper is available for everyone to peruse. My biggest challenge was categorising risk from each member's story. I utilised the Australian Clinical Guidelines for that purpose.

The paper I feel, will be a good testimony to Terry's memory. It will be a purely factual data analysis and will not contain any commentary from me whatsoever. Hopefully it will be a useful tool for newly diagnosed men.

Mark I will email you a draft when I am close to the release candidate. Needless to say, you will have the final word on the published paper.

best wishes
john

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Sounds good! I suspect we will chat from time to time regardless especially in view your upcoming YANA Database Analysis

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Ok guys, the project is nearing completion. Gee wiz, I might have to rethink some of my radical views. Hopefully it will be of value to new PCa warriors.

Mark I have emailed you a draft of the analysis. It is a rather large pdf file, about 16.5Mb I think. Could you please acknowledge receipt of my email.

best wishes

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Hi Walt, the analysis is now complete and ready for release. It should make for some very interesting reading.

Mark indicated to me last week that he was considering where the paper should appear on this site. I have not heard back from him this week. Should it not be possible to host the paper on this site, I could of course make it available to members directly, the logistics of which I would have to investigate.

best wishes,
john

Re: YANA Database Analysis

John, Has the database analysis been published?

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Hi Kevin,
I have sent the completed paper to interested YANA members that contacted me. If you have any questions related to the analysis, please fire away and I will be happy to answer.

best wishes,
john

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Yes John. I would like to see a copy.
do you need something more from me?
Regards Don O.

Re: YANA Database Analysis

I have been looking for this paper also. Where is it on the site?

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Hi Don, I though that I had sent you a copy. If not it should be available here in a few days.

Re: YANA Database Analysis

OK I give up. There is no private e-mail that I can find associated with John Bonneville, and he does not have a story logged here.

I (and others apparently) would like to see the study. How do you want to be contacted? Would you rather a specific question?

Re: YANA Database Analysis

John's analysis can now be downloaded from:
http://yananow.org/YANA_analysis_2015.pdf

I added a link to the "Resources" page under the "What Did Other Men Do?" section, to make it more readily available.

Many thanks to John for his efforts in preparing this analysis.

Hi Mark,
Could you please pull that link as it is only an unedited draft. I will forward you the completed paper in a few days when I return home. My apology for the cockup.

Re: YANA Database Analysis

Hi Kevin and my apology for the angst caused. If you wait a few days the analysis will be available. The link that Mark has provided is for an unedited draft only. A bit of a cockup has occurred. I will forward Mark the completed paper in a few days when I return home.
