Prostate Cancer Survey

The Men's Health Initiative (MHI), a national research and community outreach organization in the USA, is conducting a study on prostate cancer. As a part of this study, MHI is seeking men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer to complete an approximate 15 minute-long survey. The men can be of any age. This study has received approval from the Institutional Review Board at the University of Central Florida.

This study will be looking at past life style habits and trends and how those relate to prostate cancer. All information collected in the survey is confidential and unidentifiable.

Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. If you wish to participate, please click on the following link and follow the directions that are displayed:

Re: Prostate Cancer Survey

diagnosed with prostate cancer - 11/2010
Davinci prostectomy, gleason score 9 - 1/2011
Bone mets (spine, hip, ribs, shoulder, elbow, skull), no pain 1/2013
castrate resistant 11/2013
recommendation of Provenge 11/2013 treatment not started yet
I am still concerned that there is no positive way to know if Provenge is working. I have considered other options but am not sure what.
