This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.

Re: Night sweats soaking sheets and pillows. Suggestions?

I assume you live in the USA, home of some excellent cotton. Unfortunately here in the UK it is almost impossible to find pure cotton bedding, such is the obsession with "easy-care" fabrics. My experience is that I almost always sweat in polycotton, bedclothes or clothing, so I avoid it. If you aren't already making full use of your native product, I recommend it.

Another two thoughts occur: sweating is minimised if excess weight is removed. If you can keep your Body Mass Index below 30, and ideally under 25, that should help. Second, you may need to sleep deeper that you do currently. Have you tried relaxation techniques to deliver deeper sleep (so that you don't wake up so easily)?
