PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT SITE

This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.
There are only four rules:

  • No fundraisers, no commercials (although it is OK to recommend choices of treatment or medical people based on your personal research; invitations to participate in third-party surveys are also acceptable, provided there is no compensation to YANA);
  • No harvesting e-mail addresses for Spam;
  • No insults or flaming - be polite and respectful at all times and understand that there may be a variety of points of view, all of which may have some validity;
  • Opinions are OK, but please provide as much factual evidence as possible for any assertions that you are making

Failure to abide by these simple rules will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your posting privileges.

Boost Gregg Morrison

Those of you who have explored the site will know from the ABOUT US page that Gregg and Kerry Morrison were prime developers with me in getting this site up and running.

GREGG has curently survived longer than any other man who has shared his experiences with us - twenty years. That's longer than we ever thought we'd see when we set up the survval recognition labels - Bronze (less than five years survival), Silver (five year survival) and Gold (ten year survival). We've already had to add Platinum for five years - and now we need a new category for Twenty years - I've suggested Diamond. what do you think.

But.....Gregg is in a bad way at the moment - not from his prostate cancer, which seems to be still under control, but from a number of other problems, many assocaied with ageing - he is now 80, having been diagnosed at 61. Can I ask you to mail him at the address on his story - ozmorrie@bigpond.net.au - and Kerry will print off the mail for him.

Tell him how much this site that he helped develop means to you and to others; tell him you want to hear that he is up and about and (because he tends to argue with his doctors!!) that he may have to listen for once.

Many thakns in advance.

All the best

Terry in Australia
