i had the divinci operation about 5 years ago when i was 52, and i still cannot achieve 100% erection, maybe 50%-60% and difficult to maintain. tried all the pills and nothing helps. have not tired the pumps yet. trying to masturbate is ultra sensitive and produces a 'dry' climax without full erection. being a gay man, i am almost ready to give up even masturbating since little enjoyment anymore.

I think it is generally accepted that the substantial majority of men have prbems with erections after surgery. The precise degree is variable and cannot be predicted. Major influences are the site of the tumour, the skill of the surgeon, the level of sexual activity prior to surgery and the health, both physical and sexual, of the man.
I don't know if you have considered joining one of the specialist Forums where these issues are discussed? If you go along to MAILING LISTS and page down you'll find a couple as well as a link to a Gay Man's Forum.
There will be many men on those Forums and some may give you some advice and help to point you in the right direction towards regainging as much of your sexual prowess as is possible.
