Here's a good article on the overuse of MRI, CT and PET screenings for men with low and intermediate risk prostate cancer... and the under use in high-risk patients. I absolutely see this in the stories on this site. There are people with very low PSAs and Gleason scores who are being sent in for whole body imaging when there is essentially no chance it will find anything other than old injuries.
