David Samadi at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC is outstanding surgeon and is extremely skilled in Robotic surgery. Also Asch Tewari at Weill Cornell Presbyterian in NYC. they are both considered to be tops in this field.
I went the Hopkins route and they aborted the Robotic procedure. At a loss of how to proceed, a friend of a friend told me to go see Dr Samadi at Mount Sinai.
Best advise I've every been given.
other than the post-op effects of anesthesia and the pain of expelling the gas used to perform the surgery, I've felt fine since Wednesday evening -surgery was performed on Monday.
catheter was removed a week after surgery and I have minimal leakage and have even felt some "chubbing up".
I can't imagine anyone I could recommend for this procedure other than Dr Samadi.
