bycicle riding

I cycle about 1200 km per year. Next week I go in for prostate surgery. Can anyone tell me how difficult it was to get back to cycling?

Re: bycicle riding

Aloha Mike,
Such a simple question, but the answer depends on your starting conditions, and the doc performing the surgery. I won't speculate here, but you will need to provide more info and perhaps someone who has had surgery by your doc maybe able to provide some help.

Re: bycicle riding

I had laprascopic prostatectomy at the end of April, and was told to stay off a bicycle for 3 months. Have subsequently regularly cycled up to 3 hours at a time without any ill effects
