Re: Bad news again

Amador,

I'm sorry to hear that your cancer still seems to be progressing, I am on the A Phase 3, Randomised, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Abiraterone Acetate (CB7630) Plus Prednosone and it seems to be working for me. you can check out my story at http://prostatecancernetwork.ning.com/group/experimentaldrugtrails/forum/

Here is a link to the details regarding the Trial, http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00887198

Of course it is an experimental, drug but so far it is looking good.

It would not do any harm in checking it and any other Trials out there.

Good Luck.

Re: Bad news again

Have not had chemo yet, but have been dreading it. I am following the results of abireterone(sp). Have you heard current stats?? Last i heard, it was going to be available in 2011, if the results of the study showed promise.

Re: Bad news again

By the way, you cannot take place in this Trial if you have had Chemo.

Re: Bad news again

From bits & pieces I have read, Keto takes time.
Seen warnings not to give up on it too soon.
From memory, two to three months was mentioned to really judge if working.
So I'd try and confirm the above if you can.

Regards
Rob
