Hi Pauline,

I'm yet another one who was informed of seminal vesicle involvement immediately after biopsy.

That was over four and a half years ago, and a lot has happened since then.... a surprisingly good outcome so far.

So, as is always said here - Don't Panic!

There was a recent study just release from Germany and Holland that shows a high probablity of lymphnode involvement because of seminal vesicle invasion. The problem is that the lymph nodes sampled during surgery are not the lymphnodes that get infected through the seminal vesicles. The only test that will show this is a Combidex MRI which is only available in Holland.
